Excellent Doctor. This is a review in response to the one star reviews which in all fairness should be thrown out. They are about all things NOT Dr. Revis. I doubt she has much control over her office staff.
She is the very best internist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Always super focused on you and your individual history she leaves no stones unturned. She is super experienced and knows many specialists in the area so is an enormous source for referrals. I will continue to see only her for all my healthcare needs. I feel very fortunate to have found her.

Dr Revis is excellent! Very thorough and thoughtful. I was having soreness in my abdominal area which isn’t normal but as women we self diagnose. I went in for an MRI/bloodwork. Needless to say I was in pretty bad shape without going into detail. She saved me from the uncertainty and my life if had gone untreated

I advised all Patients not to waist their time and Money. Find different Internal Medicine Doctor within Novant. The Doctor and few of the staffs in that office need Training who to deal with a patient and treat the patient with care. Few Staffs are so rude and not professional
The Doctor types on the laptop and she does not want you to interrupt her. I was seen by Dr. Long for 25 years and he uses to converse with me and understand what is the issue and he treated it and never had issue with prescriptions. In Feb 2018, This Doctor failed to treat me properly with my Cholesterol and she gave very low dose which caused my number to jump so high .

I truly thank God for you, Dr. Revis! It is such a blessing and a privilege to have a Primary Care Physician who really cares for her patients enough to sincerely and attentively express compassion, patience, and warm hospitality while professionally using an investigative and very thorough approach to restore and extend good health in the lives of her patients based on her extensive years of experience, knowledge, and wisdom. In a time when many medical doctors have become cold, rushed, and more concerned with curing the disease/condition rather than being sensitive to the person, I just want to thank you, Dr. Revis, for taking excellent care of me as your patient!!! Dr. Sheley R Revis has been my primary care physician since 2002. I found her after enduring a string of poor health care providers. Over the years her office has relocated a few times, at one point over an hour away. I always made sure I traveled to see her because the care and attention she provides is hard to come by. I admit, there was a P.A. I did not care for at once point, but that was only for 2-3 visits. Here's the bottom line: She listens, she asks questions, and she doesn't simply sling pills. Sheley R Revis is a doctor.

This so called DR has zero concern for health. All she did was type on her computer and misdignose with referral to gastro dr CT scan.
It was an ultrasound that was needed for my pain, so her referral did nothing.
The whole office was slack with follow through, so don't waist your health's time waiting on this dr.

*I have since found a real doctor whom treated me with all the right medications, as well as booking the surgery to remove the poly cystast ovary so I can finally get my life back!

Great staff and Dr.Revis is great. She answers all my questions and concerns clearly and in layman's terms and makes sure I Understand. She is right on with diagnoses & treatments and she knows when to send you to a Specialist. The office almost alway's on time and waiting time is minimal.
